NEW YORK CITY—In a relocation within Midtown, Bernhardt Design has signed a ten-year, 20,000-square-foot lease at 136 Madison Ave., where it will take office and showroom space. The owner of the 150,000-square-foot building—who was not identified at press time—was represented by Colliers International tri-state vice chairman Andrew Roos and tri-state president Michael T. Cohen. The tenant was represented by Cresa New York principals Ed Wartels and Jim Pirot.

The Museum of Modern Art Design Store has renewed its 15,000-square-foot lease at 81 Spring St. for another 15 years. The sole retail tenant at the landmarked Soho property was represented in the transaction by Simon Dallimore of Dallimore & Co. The building's private owner was represented by Colliers' Marvin Rosenberg, Pat Breslin, Ken Yip, and April Kim.

Coyne Public Relations is moving its New York City office to the top two floors of 1400 Broadway, an Empire State Realty Trust-owned property. The duplex penthouse features more than 13,500 square feet. Josh Kuriloff, David Sherman and Andrew Braver of Cushman & Wakefield represented Coyne in the lease negotiations. Landlord representation was provided by Keith Cody of ESRT, along with Scott Klau, Erik Harris and Neil Rubin of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank.

New luxury travel brand Mosafer is opening its first US location in a former art gallery space at 24 W. 57th St. Part of a larger retail brand based in Qatar, the tenant signed a 15-year lease for the 13,400 square-foot retail space and was represented by Amira Yunis and Anthony Stanford of CBRE Group. The Midtown building is owned by AFP Properties.

RKF and Isaacs and Co. have arranged a new lease for Aquazzura at 935 Madison Ave. The luxury shoe retailer, which will occupy 2,221 total square feet of retail space, was represented in the lease by Isaacs' Marc Simon. Landlord JZS Madison was represented by RKF vice chairman Ariel Schuster, managing director Jackie Totolo and associate Brandon Elias, along with Isaacs president Joel Isaacs and Joshua Lewin.

Adam Malitz, associate of Lee & Associates NY has arranged a lease for SHORTY'S first Brooklyn location at 229 Flatbush Ave., between Bergen and Dean Streets in Park Slope. The restaurant will take a 1,048-square-foot space up the street from Barclays Center.

Eastern Consolidated has arranged a 950-square-foot lease at 220 E. 60th St. for makeup salon Rouge New York. Senior director of the retail leasing division Brad Cohen and associate Jon Kamali represented the property in the transaction. Jacqueline Klinger and Jordan Cohn of SCG Retail represented the tenant.
