DENVER—Phoenix-based A&C Properties has completed of the first phase of development at Porteos, a 1,287 acre mixed-use project adjacent to Denver International Airport.

The first phase includes the opening of new Jackson Gap Street which provides immediate access for travelers heading to Denver International and throughway for residents of Aurora and Adams County. Additionally Forum Real Estate Group has completed ParkDIA, a 7,500-space state-of-the-art parking complex featuring valet services, self-covered and uncovered parking and a shuttle awaiting your arrival.

A&C Properties invested $13 million to complete Jackson Gap Street and related infrastructure, all without public financing. The company's long term vision for this property is to create an economic engine that enhances the airport and drives regional and statewide benefits. JLL is leading the marketing efforts to investors, developers and occupiers of industrial, aviation, hospitality and commercial space.

"Porteos is the ideal location for those interested in serving and gaining exposure to visitors in the DIA area," said Bill Wichterman, vice president and general counsel of A&C Properties. "It will eventually be home to thousands of hotel rooms, millions of square feet of industrial facilities, and hundreds of other businesses that value proximity and access to the airport. Porteos has everything a business needs to succeed - airport access, entitlements, location and people."

Wichterman went on to say "the commitment to regionalism by elected officials in Denver, Adams County and Aurora has resulted in this roadway and a new southern entrance to DIA. With the construction of this new south entrance to DIA, we have connected Adams County and Aurora to the massive economic engine that is the Denver International Airport, the fifth busiest airport in the country."

Porteos is the only entitled, zoned and shovel-ready, non-residential site within a four mile radius of the airport. Located at the Northeast corner of Jackson Gap Street and 64th Avenue, it offers direct access to the airport's cargo apron which is only 3,000 feet from the property; two miles to DIA's main terminal, the new 519-room Westin Hotel and light rail station; and is located in the Foreign Trade Zone and Enterprise Zone.
