NEW YORK CITY—Bergdorf Goodman is expanding its Midtown offices in a move that also will open up retail space in its in its adjacent store. The retailer has agreed to take 40,000 square feet of office space at 4 West 58th St. The move creates an additional 25,000 square feet of retail space in the Women's Store portion of Bergorf's department store. CBRE's Joseph Fabrizi, EVP; Michael Wellen, SVP, consulting, and Arkady Smolyansky, VP, along with Steve Quintin, president of Westfair Realty, represented Bergdorf in the 15-year lease with existing options for floors 3 through 8 at the building. JLL's Scott Panzer represented 4 W. 58th St. in the transaction. In concert with the agreement, Fabrizi and his CBRE Long Island City team represented Bergdorf in the relocation of its LIC Alternatives Design Display facility to 53,000-square-feet at 39-34 43rd St. in Queens.

JLL and Edward J. Minskoff Equities have completed a 10-year lease renewal with Sprint Communications Co. at 1166 Ave. of the Americas for 39,075 square feet. Minskoff, the owner of the Class A, 1.6 million-square-foot office building, was represented by the JLL team of Paul Glickman, vice chairman; Cynthia Wasserberger, managing director; Jonathan Fanuzzi, EVP and Diana Biasotti, SVP. The group worked closely with Jeffrey Sussman, EVP, at Minskoff. Sprint was represented by Robert Hill, SVP, and Timothy Hay, senior associate at CBRE.

ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital has relocated in a 8,364-square-foot office lease to 220 E. 42nd St., aka, the News Building. CBRE's Paul Walker, first VP, represented the tenant in the seven-year deal on the partial fourth floor. Landlord SL Green was represented in house by Jeremy Bier and Jennifer Hahn ALSAC/St. Jude will move from 14 Penn Plaza in February.

JRT Realty Group, the country's largest, certified woman-owned commercial real estate services firm, has represented Global Health Strategies in the closing of a ten-year, 7,300-square-foot lease on the twelfth floor of 38 E. 32nd St. in the Midtown West submarket. Ellen Israel and Lauren Calandriello of JRT represented Global Health Strategies. Building ownership was represented by Michael Joseph of Colliers International.

Brooklyn's Crown Heights area is home to a new grocery store. Wholesome Foods has signed a 10-year, 2,700-square-foot lease at 1306 Atlantic Ave., on the corner of Atlantic and Nostrand Avenues. Eastern Consolidated's retail leasing division inked the agreement at $65 per square foot, a big jump from the $20 per square foot paid by the previous tenant, a 99-cent store. The property offers 40 feet of frontage along Nostrand Avenue. Joe Robinson, senior director of Eastern's retail leasing, represented the landlord, Nostrand Atlantic Holdings. Alexandra Rossland, associate director of investment sales, was the referring agent.

Lee & Associates NYC principal Dennis Someck and managing director Justin Myers have arranged a 12-year lease for furniture gallery Demisch Danant at 30 W. 12th St., located between Fifth and Sixth Avenues. The space comprises 2,600 square feet on the ground floor and a 1,600-square-foot basement. Demisch is relocating from 542 W. 22nd St. Christopher Riccio of Leslie J. Garfield & Co. represented the owner. Demisch Danant will take occupancy in February 2016 and open in the spring.
