PHOENIX—The 123-suite Homewood Suites by Hilton and the 123-room Hilton Garden Inn, both in Phoenix-Avondale have undergone renovations, according to MCR Development. Both hotels opened in 2008 and are located in Phoenix's West Valley in proximity to a variety of corporate and leisure demand generators.

The renovations involved updating all guest suites with new furniture and design décor, as well as remodeling the lobby and common areas to provide more space and flexibility. The Homewood Suites by Hilton design enhancement will also include an outdoor public gathering space for guests to enjoy Phoenix's year-round climate. The Hilton Garden Inn's design concept includes redesigned banquet and meeting rooms as well as installing new exercise and cardiovascular equipment in the fitness center.

MCR Development tells GlobeSt.com: "We are pleased to have completed our strategic renovation at Hilton Garden Inn, which has significantly strengthened the hotel's competitive position in the market. Supported by multiple demand generators, the Hampton Roads metropolitan area is a prime destination for both business and leisure travelers. We look forward to offering guests an enhanced experience."

The Homewood Suites by Hilton and The Hilton Garden Inn are conveniently located along Interstate 10 in Avondale, in proximity to numerous corporate office locations, healthcare institutions such as Banner Thunderbird Medical Center and government facilities such as the Luke Air Force Base, the permanent home of the Naval Operational Support Center. In addition, the hotels are a short drive from the University of Phoenix stadium, the home of the NFL's Arizona Cardinals. Other nearby demand drivers include the NASCAR track, Phoenix International Raceway, and Goodyear Ballpark, the spring training home of both the Cleveland Indians and the Cincinnati Reds.
