SAN FRANCISCO—Low inventory, historically low interest rates and the trend in property appreciation are issues facing would-be multi-family dwellers today. This, combined with the ability to experience a home's nuances in person and the prospect for immediate move-in are contributing factors in the anticipated appeal of The Harrison.

The 298-unit luxury residential tower located in Rincon Hill has recently launched, anticipated to be one of the most distinct residential offerings in San Francisco. It features the design concept of interior designer Ken Fulk, The Harrison's creative director, who has designed the building's entire concept including the residences, the common areas and amenities for the luxury tower. Fulk is responsible for The Battery, the private club in the Financial District, and the renovation of the Mark Hopkins. He created interiors for clubs, homes and events for personalities such as Jean Paul Gaultier. The Harrison is Fulk's first design of a for-sale property.

"I am a storyteller, and my mission is to create a distinct, personal living experience with a heightened level of sophistication. The public spaces at The Harrison are designed to reflect a grand private residence, rather than a typical amenity area, and are deeply personal with one-of-a-kind furnishings, collected objects and curated art. The rooms reflect old world San Francisco with its continental flair and elegance, while modern and fresh at the same time," says Fulk.

The Mark Company has been selected for the sales and marketing of the apartments to begin in early 2016, according to The Mark Company on behalf of Maximus Real Estate Partners. Rising 48 stories on the top of the city, the tower offers panoramic and unique vistas in all four directions, and due to the elevation of the hill, The Harrison has expansive vistas from even the lower floors. Homebuyers will be able to choose the residence that faces their preferred panoramic vista of San Francisco. The Harrison offers immediate occupancy with the certainty of selecting the ideal residence, rather than purchasing from a floor plan.

Alan Mark, president of The Mark Company, tells Globest.com: "The Harrison will feature a re-imagined Sky Lounge and stunning views unlike any other in San Francisco. The building's world-class amenities and bespoke concierge service are designed to accommodate a high-end and effortless lifestyle. An elegant sales gallery and impressive model homes will provide a uniquely personalized buying experience. The sales process is unique as homebuyers will have the opportunity to walk through their future home and personally experience its outstanding views and custom layout versus choosing a home from a selection of floor plans having never stepped foot in the residence before."

Amenities include a fitness center, conference room, doorman with fully attended lobby, onsite concierge, pool, Jacuzzi, outdoor terraces, bicycle stalls and on-site valet parking. The Harrison is strategically located in close proximity to South Beach, South of Market and Embarcadero, as well as the future Transbay Terminal and Transbay Park. The Caltrain and BART station are within walking distance and the property offers an easy commute via the Bay Bridge, Interstate 280 and 101. Nearby employers include Salesforce, JP Morgan Chase, Blackrock, Stubhub and CNET.

"Maximus' commitment to delivering a distinct market leading opportunity, exemplified by its receiving the prestigious American Institute of Architects Honor Award for Urban Design in 2013, combined with the brand distinction and highly appointed design features of Ken Fulk, will prominently position The Harrison in the marketplace. We anticipate the unparalleled and elegant modern apartments will appeal to socially active, highly educated professionals with a modern, global perspective," says Mark.

As previously reported, The Mark Company pointed to the low level of condo resale inventory.
