PHOENIX—TruTemp outgrew its previous location for the third time in the past 12 years and is now housed in a new 32,500-square-foot office/warehouse building located at 4010 E. Raymond St. within the Pinnacle Business Park. LGE Design Build recently completed construction of the facility for TruTemp Equipment, the largest wholesale food service equipment distributor in the Southwest.

"TruTemp Equipment has grown in recent years, adding equipment lines and additional customers by providing immediate availability and exceptional service from our knowledgeable and committed employees," said Tim McGillicuddy, TruTemp Equipment owner/general manager. "Our new building will enable TruTemp to better serve customers by housing the highest inventory levels in the Southwest region. We look forward to continued growth by providing top-notch products and complete customer service."

TruTemp distributes commercial ice machines, refrigeration equipment, cooking equipment, beverage equipment and filtration systems and replacement parts.

Dave Sellers, LGE Design Build president, tells GlobeSt.com: "As TruTemp has repeatedly outgrown its buildings in recent years, we constructed an office/warehouse project to help TruTemp accommodate its capacity for years to come. By using LGE Design Build for the construction and our in-house architectural service, LGE Design Group, we were able to provide a streamlined process for TruTemp. LGE Design Build was delighted to execute two building types of office and warehouse into one project that will assist TruTemp in advancing its growth."

"We approached the design with the intent to create high efficiencies, maximize warehouse space and display products within close proximity to office space. The exterior of the building has an angular and dynamic approach that sets the building apart with a contemporary industrial feel," said Vince Dalke, LGE Design Group vice president/principal.

"The economic conditions were very favorable 18 months ago when we started the process, with the low cost of vacant land and money. LGE Design Build was able to provide an affordable, turnkey process for us, and did an outstanding job," said McGillicuddy.
