DALLAS--Mill Creek Residential, through a joint venture with Elite International Investment Fund, has broken ground on Modera Turtle Creek.
The mixed-use community, which will add 207 upscale apartment homes in a six-story structure, will feature three levels of subterranean parking and is being constructed on the southwest corner of Cedar Springs Road and Welborn Street. The vacant lot was purchased from Oak Lawn United Methodist Church.
"Today's growing group of creative professionals enjoy the active, vibrant lifestyle the Turtle Creek neighborhood has to offer," Rick Perdue, Mill Creek Residential managing director for Dallas, told GlobeSt.com. "But they're looking for an apartment living experience that isn't available quiet yet in the neighborhood. Modera Turtle Creek will fill that void and offer an experience like no other in Turtle Creek."
Modera Turtle Creek will include upmarket amenities, including a resort-style pool with tanning edge, an outdoor lounge and cooking area with gas grills, a fitness center, controlled-access parking and entry, private individual storage and Wi-Fi connectivity in common areas.
Inside the community's studio, one- and two-bedroom apartment homes, residents will be greeted with 42-inch cabinets, stainless-steel appliances, granite countertops, wood-plank flooring and a custom light package, among additional amenities.
With the addition of Modera Turtle Creek, Mill Creek owns and operates 938 apartment homes, and has begun construction on more than 707 additional apartments in the Dallas metropolitan area.
