Midtown South's Wyndham Trades Hands

NEW YORK CITY—The 128-room property is one of the four hotels for which Gemini Real Estate Advisors filed a Chapter 11 reorganization petition earlier this year.

NEW YORK CITY—Gemini Real Estate Advisors has sold another one of its properties. Following the firm’s filing of a Chapter 11 reorganization petition on behalf of four of its investment vehicles earlier this year, Fortuna Realty Group acquired at auction the seller’s Wyndham franchised hotel at 37 W. 24th St. for $60 million.

Fortuna—which already has in its holdings Hotel Hugo, Hotel Indigo Chelsea, Garden City Hotel and Sugar Bay Resort & Spa—was represented in the deal by brokers Doug Hercher and David Smith of Robert Douglas and the law firm of Windels Marx.
