DALLAS--Wellington Realty has brokered the sale of Summer Glen, an apartment complex located at 9624 Rolling Rock Lane in Dallas.
With a total of 206 apartment units, Summer Glen was built in 1972 and renovated in 2000. David Shaffer, Kirby Hall Jackson III and Caleb Jones of Wellington Realty sold the asset.
"From a macro look, Dallas remains one of the top markets for multifamily investment for both domestic and international capital," Shaffer, managing partner, Wellington Realty, told GlobeSt.com. "On a micro level, the east Dallas submarket provides opportunities for capital appreciation and long term value."
Located near LBJ Freeway, the property's favorable location is also enhanced by the fact that it is located within the Richardson Independent School District.
"Our in-depth knowledge of the White Rock submarket enabled us to achieve the purchasers' price expectations," says Jones, brokerage associate, Wellington Realty. "This allowed us to meet the closing date without any problems; a process that we strive for with each transaction."
