HOUSTON—HFF has added a new leader to its Houston office.
The firm has announced that Jeffrey Roberts has joined the firm as a chief information officer (CIO). In this role, Roberts will lead HFF's information technology department and strategic technology vision for the firm, and manage all aspects of the company's IT strategy and operations.
Roberts has more than 20 years of technology experience running global IT operations for leading corporations. Prior to joining HFF, he was the CIO at Carriage Services. Previously, he worked as the CIO at Situs, Saxon Mortgage, and Litton Loan Servicing, a Goldman Sachs company.
Roberts has led global information technology efforts across six nations on three continents and is experienced in securing efficient IT operations for tightly regulated global companies. He holds an executive leadership certificate from Rice University and is a graduate of the University of Tulsa.
"Consistent with our strategic growth initiative, HFF continues to expand its total employment and production ranks reaching a high of nearly 800 employees at the end of third quarter 2015," says Nancy Goodson, HFF's chief operating officer.
"Given this growth, we feel it is prudent to appoint a chief information officer to ensure our internal IT systems and operations are functioning at their highest capabilities."
