ATLANTA—A senior housing and mixed-use development is underway in Lawrenceville, GA, a suburb of Atlanta. LandSouth Construction is constructing the project.
LIV Development and Brock and Associates are developing 1760. The mixed-use project is set to come online in April 2017.
"The community is the convergence of luxury with urban living," LandSouth president and CEO James Pyle, tells Globest.com. The project includes 239 multifamily units ranging in size from 742 to 1,465 square feet, as well as private balconies, granite countertops, solid wood cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, and luxury wood plank vinyl flooring.
Four four-story buildings with elevators, two carriage houses, a pool house, surface and garage parking, make up the project. A luxury clubhouse overlooking the pool and courtyard with spots for grilling and entertainment are among the luxury amenities. A modern fitness center, yoga studio, cyber café, car wash and casual bar area are also part of the mix.
"In addition, its proximity to entertainment and shopping possibilities, work, recreation, attractive outdoor activities and views, creates lots of opportunities for 1760 residents," Joe Passkiewicz, senior vice president of development at LandSouth, tells GlobeSt.com. 1760 sits on eight acres near Interstate 85 and GA 316 off Sugarloaf Parkway.
LandSouth is working on apartments and mixed-use developments throughout the Southeast including Florida cities Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Sanford, Jacksonville, Davenport, Casselberry, Odessa and Orlando. LandSouth has completed more than 12,000 multifamily units, including apartments, senior living, condominiums, and townhomes in the past 18 years.
