DALLAS-- First Texas Hospital in Carrollton--on behalf of Adeptus Health--is changing the face of local healthcare real estate.

PM Realty Group (PMRG) announced a significant milestone in its development of the medical facility, which is located at 1401 E. Trinity Mills Road.

First Texas Hospital totals 76,500 square feet and includes 50 inpatient beds, three operating rooms, an emergency department and an imaging department.

"Healthcare today is heavily focused on providing quality emergency care with improved access for communities currently underserved," Glen Perkins, PMRG executive vice president and managing director, told GlobeSt.com. "With the number of ER visits rising, PMRG is pleased to play an integral role in the expansion of healthcare facilities to communities similar to Carrollton.

Along with PMRG as the developer, the First Texas Hospital team was comprised of Ascension Group Architects, Bury Partners as the civil engineer and Hill & Wilkinson Construction Group Ltd. as the general contractor.

"PMRG continues to expand this healthcare charge by delivering additional facilities equipped with the latest technologies, state of the art features and class A amenities to many markets that are growing but don't have neighborhood access to facilities that will accommodate the increased demand," Perkins says.

"In addition to Carrollton, PMRG is developing other high profile medical facilities in other Texas markets in addition to our national initiatives with new developments in the Phoenix and Las Vegas markets."
