Bernards Son Leaves Family Construction Firm

LOS ANGELES—Jeff M. Bernards joins Sharpe Interior Systems as EVP, leaving his family-owned firm after more than 20 years.

LOS ANGELES—Jeff M. Bernards has left his family-owned firm Bernards construction, where he formerly served as SVP, to join Sharpe Interior Systems in the newly created position of EVP. In this new role, Bernards will serve as an executive leader for the company and its clients.

“It was time for me to ‘run on my own steam’ for the second half of my career,” Bernards tells GlobeSt.com. “Beyond spending 20-plus years in the family business, I always knew that eventually I would want to do something new and different. This opportunity presented itself and the timing was just right.”
