COLORADO SPRINGS, CO—GF Management, a national hotel ownership and management company, announces that, through its affiliate, it has acquired the 299-room DoubleTree by Hilton Colorado Springs. The purchase, which is located off I-25 in Colorado Springs, marks the company's first ownership venture in Colorado.

GF Management's SVP, Jeff Kolessar, led acquisition efforts. "The DoubleTree Colorado Springs offers a platform of great potential wherein we know the implementation of our proven management systems, along with our planned capital improvements, will elevate the Hotel to a superior operation."

The acquisition of the DoubleTree Colorado Springs sets the pace for GF Management's growth objectives. The addition of this hotel is the sixth acquisition in just over two years and marks the fifth Hilton branded hotel owned by the company, according to a prepared statement.

Kolessar continues: "We are continually identifying quality assets to expand the company's owned portfolio, and we are prepared for additional growth in 2016. In preparation, we continue to hire and develop top talent in our industry in order to be successful."

As part of GF's talent development, Chas Henry was brought on board as director of development in late 2014 and has focused the last 18 months on identifying acquisition opportunities and developing third party management relationships. "Chas Henry has proven to be a tremendous addition to our team," states Ken Kochenour, founder and president of GF Management. "His knowledge of the industry, investment in the future of the company and approach to client relationships will continue to positively impact the future of GF Management."

Since acquiring its first hotel in 1988, GF has grown into one of America's leading hotel owners and managers with 20 hospitality assets now owned by its principals and affiliates. GF's current owned and managed portfolio consists of more than 85 hospitality assets in 28 states, comprising over 14,000 rooms.
