Niall Byrne, now back with an Inland company

OAK BROOK, IL—Inland Investment Real Estate Services has just hired Niall J. Byrne as its new executive vice president and head of property management. Byrne will handle IIRES's property management for Inland Investments, Inland National Development Corp. and Inland Institutional Capital Partners. IIRES is the real estate management division for real estate investment programs sponsored by Inland Real Estate Investment Corp.

Niall brings a wealth of experience in property management across numerous property sectors including retail, multi-family, office and industrial,” says Daniel Zatloukal, president of IIRES. “Niall's knowledge and expertise is an excellent complement for our growing and diverse portfolio of just under 500 properties, located across 44 states, totaling approximately 31.5 million square feet and including more than 7,700 apartment units.”

Byrne comes to IIRES from Retail Properties of America, Inc., formerly known as Inland Western Retail Real Estate Trust, Inc., where he worked in leadership positions for 10 years. Most recently, he served as executive vice president and president of property management for RPAI. He handled all aspects of property management, oversaw net operating income, occupancy and consumer marketing and expanded the company's national retailer relationships. Prior to joining RPAI, Byrne served as vice president of property management at American Landmark Properties. During his career, he also held positions with Providence Management Co., The Habitat Co., The Balcor Co. and Thomas Havey and Co.
