Multifamily Pipeline Includes Two Class-A Projects
DALLAS—Two class-A communities, Jefferson Galatyn Park and Jefferson on Lake Carolyn, add to a growing project list in the DFW area including JPI's newly completed Jefferson Las Colinas, a 6.6-acre class-A urban development.

DALLAS—With 1,886 apartment homes currently under construction and another 746 recently completed in 2015, JPI sets its sights on multifamily communities into 2016 and beyond. JPI, a national developer, builder and investment manager of class-A multifamily assets, has been named the most active multifamily developer in Dallas/Fort Worth, according to research firm AXIOMetrics . Matt Brendel , JPI’s senior vice president and development partner, tells GlobeSt.com: “To be recognized as the top multifamily developer with the most apartment homes under construction in DFW is a huge milestone for JPI and affirms our commitment to meet the growing demands of the surrounding community. There is great demand for high-end apartment communities complete with extensive amenities and services in the DFW market and our focus on delivering this type of development has paid off. ” The announcement comes after the close of two communities under construction: Jefferson Galatyn Park , a 5.37-acre urban development located one mile south of the new CityLine development and Jefferson on Lake Carolyn , a 7.23-acre development inside the Las Colinas Urban Center . These two communities add to JPI’s growing project list in the area, including its newly completed Jefferson Las Colinas , a 6.6-acre class-A urban development. Jefferson Galatyn Park is located in Richardson, TX near the new State Farm and Raytheon headquarters, just south of the Galatyn Park DART station at the intersection of Galatyn Parkway and Performance Drive. The community boasts 379 apartment homes for rent ranging from 600 to 1,450 square feet. Residents can choose between one-, two- and three- bedroom homes as well as loft-style homes, with features including custom quartz countertops, 10-foot ceilings, and full-size washers and dryers. Select apartment homes also include private yards with easy access to public sidewalks and the DART red and orange rail lines. The creative architectural design invites residents to gather in the community’s public spaces. Amenities include four courtyards, a community rooftop terrace, beer garden, dog park, luxury pool, structured parking and a large two-story clubhouse. The design team included JHP Architecture , with civil engineering and landscape design by Kimley-Horn and interior design by SJL Design Group . Opening is set for summer 2017. The contemporary Jefferson on Lake Carolyn community is located in Las Colinas, TX at the intersection of Lake Carolyn Parkway and California Crossing Road, inside the Las Colinas urban center. Residents have easy access to local entertainment with the Irving Music Factory and Water Street, and are within walking distance to the orange DART line Las Colinas Urban Station, which now connects to the DFW International Airport. There will be 422 apartment homes available for rent. Residents can choose between one-, two- and three-bedroom homes ranging from 600 to 1,500 square feet with amenities including quartz countertops, 10-foot ceilings, and full-size washers and dryers. With contemporary architecture and plentiful amenities including structured parking, a luxury pool, a large clubhouse and lushly landscaped courtyards, the residents’ experience is enhanced by promoting a strong sense of community. The design team included Womack + Hampton Architects , with civil engineering by Glenn Engineering, landscape design by Kimley-Horn and interior design by SJL Design Group . Opening is scheduled for summer 2017.
