Columbia Square's Residences Are Almost Here

LOS ANGELES—Proper Hotels launches leasing efforts of its Hollywood Proper Residences, a high-end collection of long-term residences at Columbia Square.

LOS ANGELES— Proper Hotels has launched leasing efforts for its Hollywood Proper Residences , a collection of 200 high-end long-term stay residences at Columbia Square in Hollywood . The residences will officially open in June of this year with rental rates starting at $3,500 for unfurnished units and $7,000 for furnished units, while penthouses will be available from $22,500 per month. “We look for neighborhoods within culturally rich cities that are a draw for creative thinkers and entrepreneurs,” Brian De Lowe , President and Co-Founder of Proper Hospitality, tells GlobeSt.com. “Hollywood is experiencing a major renaissance, attracting forward-thinking companies and a culture-driven workforce that’s truly inspiring. We see Columbia Square as the epicenter of this renaissance. Located at Kilroy Realty’s Columbia Square office and mixed-use development, the residences will target executives working onsite or traveling for business. Guests will be able to stay in the housing for a month to more than a year. The units are a mix of one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments; all equipped with walk-in closets and private balconies and designed by Kelly Wearstler . The residences will also have a wealth of amenities exclusive to guests, like a rooftop pool with cabanas, a fitness center and a concierge. The property was designed to mirror the creativity of the complex. “Alongside innovative brands like Viacom and Neuehouse , Hollywood Proper Residences not only further cements but elevates the trend of mixed use developments with an unrivaled, design-driven boutique lifestyle experience in L.A., fulfilling the growing desire to work and play in creative, collaborative environments,” adds De Lowe. Guests will of course also have access to all of the campus amenities, like fine dining options, cafes and retail shops.
