Irvine Co. Poised to Launch Kinetic

NEWPORT BEACH, CA—The Irvine Co. plans to unveil the flagship Kinetic facility with a special event next week. Kenetic is designed to offer healthcare, fitness and wellness under one roof in a business setting, the company says. It plans plans to expand the concept across California this year. The 17,000 square foot Kinetic flagship in Newport Beach will be divided into three areas: a medical office operated by St. Joseph Hoag Health ; a private fitness center for Newport Center office customers; and The Zone , a boutique fitness training studio operated by Active Wellness, LLC and open to the public. The Kinetic mobile app allows for Fitbit integration, challenges, dashboards, class scheduling and payment. Irvine Company says part of its mission as a developer is to delivers vibrant workplace communities, integrating business and life while promoting collaboration, innovation and in the case of Kinetic, health. The event is scheduled for 10 am Thursday Feb. 18 at 600 Newport Center Drive . Company officials from Irvine and partner firms are expected to be on hand.
