Residents Begin Occupying Jackson Throop Apts.

CHICAGO—The firm's research shows that renters prefer to have a home with top-of-the-line finishes they'll use on a daily basis.

CHICAGO—Luxury Living Chicago Realty has just welcomed first residents to Jackson Throop Place, a 93-unit luxury apartment building located at 1241 and 1245 W. Jackson Blvd. in the West Loop. Company officials say the development is the result of research that showed many luxury dwellers want to see a focus on their units’ amenities instead of the common areas. Just around the corner from Skinner Park, the newly constructed, condo quality apartments are close to the Target, 1KFulton – home to Google – and Restaurant Row on Jackson. Residents will also have quick access to the CBD, Fulton Market District and the Kennedy Expressway. “While the vast majority of new luxury apartments being developed and delivered in downtown Chicago focus on high-end, common-area amenities, Jackson Throop’s focus is on the experience residents will enjoy inside their apartments,” says Aaron Galvin, owner and managing broker of Luxury Living Chicago Realty, the exclusive leasing brokerage for Jackson Throop Place. “Our research shows not all renters want to pay for a host of amenities they will rarely use. Instead, they prefer to have a more thoughtfully designed home with top-of-the-line finishes they’ll use on a daily basis.”  All homes feature open floor plans and a gourmet chef’s kitchen with quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, glass range hoods, glass backsplashes and solid wood cabinetry. “Michigan Avenue Real Estate Group, the developer of Jackson Throop Place, made sure no detail was overlooked when designing the residences,” Galvin adds. “Special touches, including 10-foot ceilings, crown molding, bamboo hardwood floors throughout the entire unit and custom-designed closets in each bedroom, make these homes stand out among other apartments in the area.”
