SVN Affiliate Hangs Shingle in Austin

AUSTIN, TX—New SVN ǀ Tamarack office plans to capitalize on out-of-state buyers of $2.5 million-plus properties, as 66% of buyers came from other states and 16% came from foreign buyers, according to SVN research.

AUSTIN, TX—Commercial real estate investors and companies in greater Austin face a challenging market, with population growth and job expansion of almost 4% last year, which creates demand for office space. Despite the ongoing construction and addition of new office space throughout the metro area, occupancy rates for top-tier office space are hovering around 91%, making it difficult to find available properties. In addition, rent for office space is also increasing.
