Ten Thousand

LOS ANGELES—Developer Crescent Heights is bringing multifamily to the Century City market with Ten Thousand, a 40-story, 283-unit ultra-luxury apartment complex. The property is scheduled to open this summer, but the developer is only now unveiling the design concept for the property.

“Our vision for Ten Thousand aligns with Crescent Heights's mission for every project we undertake. We sought out an exceptional and compelling urban location within one of our nation's most dynamic cities and are creating a lifestyle that is different from any other residential building,” Bruce A. Menin, principal of Crescent Heights, tells GlobeSt.com. “Ten Thousand not only establishes the entrance into Beverly Hills, but it is being designed to feel like an authentic part of the Los Angeles skyline. Our goal was to create new vigor and energy in the area while offering innovative design, advanced residential technology, spectacular views and a carefree lifestyle with 75,000 square feet of amenities—something that is unprecedented for the Los Angeles market.”

Located on the border of Beverly Hills and Century City, the property is in a high-end area with limited multifamily development, and as a result, the property echoes a luxury hotel living experience with 75,000 square feet of amenity space, including a fitness center with three exercise studios, a Pilates room, an indoor and outdoor pools including ion filtration system, video conference rooms, a private theater, groundbreaking residential technology for round-the-clock, on-demand convenience, personalized concierge services and an onsite lifestyle manager. The interior units have private balconies for indoor-outdoor living, along with open floor plans and designer kitchens.

Handel Architects designed the property along with interior designers Shamir Shah Design. “With each new development, we take great pride in assembling the best creative team in every city that we build in, from New York to Los Angeles, to our newest planned developments in Chicago and Seattle,” adds Menin. “Starting with the right team helps us to develop the project's identity and enables us to better respond to the local market, identify the needs and desires of the residents, and bring the vision of each project to life.”
