Multifamily Development Planned Near Denver

LAKEWOOD, CO— Wood Partners of Atlanta has completed the acquisition of 19.2 acres near Denver with plans for a multifamily development. Construction of ALTA Pinehurst in Lakewood, is expected to begin later this month and reach full completion by Fall 2017. The site is southwest of Denver near Pinehurst County Club . Executive managing directors Steve O’Dell and Chris Cowan of ARA Newmark represented the undisclosed seller in the transaction. “ALTA Pinehurst will satisfy high demand for units in the southwest metro area,” said O’Dell. The new complex at 3950 S. Wadsworth Boulevard will include 350 one-, two- and three-bedroom units in a garden-style setting. Residences will feature generously-sized spaces – an average of 965 square feet – with quartz countertops, an upgraded appliance package, kitchens islands and vinyl plank flooring in bathrooms, kitchens and living areas. Community amenities will include a two-story, manor-style clubhouse featuring a cyber café, sports lounge, game room with billiards, kitchen/bar seating and a fitness center. Outdoor amenities will include a resort-style pool with covered outdoor grilling and seating areas, an expansive dog park and game lawn. “Residents will have convenient access to major employers as well as numerous retail and dining options at the Southwest Plaza Mall and Belmar, among others,” noted Jack Kachadurian , vice president of development for the Denver and Rocky Mountain markets at Wood Partners.
