Charles Dunn Names New Head of Brokerage

LOS ANGELES—David Pinsel, formerly of Colliers International, is Charles Dunn's new president of brokerage, and has some hefty expansion goals for the firm.

LOS ANGELES—Brokerage firm Charles Dunn has named 15-year industry veteran David Pinsel as president of brokerage services. He joins the firm from Colliers International, where he served as managing director. In this new role, Pinsel will lead and execute the 95-year-old firm’s substantial expansion and recruiting strategy.

Pinsel has a storied career as a top broker and recruiter. He began his career at Marcus & Millichap in 2001, and has since held leadership positions at Sperry Van Ness and Colliers International, where he most recently grew the firm’s North Texas team from 16 brokers to 80. His new position at Charles Dunn will allow him to leverage that experience to grow the firm. “This was an opportunity for me to take a leadership role in the company,” Pinsel tells GlobeSt.com. “I was brought here to grow the company and to create an inviting culture for brokers and staff to come. I really have the opportunity here to put a stamp on it, as opposed to being just one of the senior executives. They are challenging me with taking the company forward in its evolution, and I relish that path.”
