NEW YORK CITY— CBRE Group has nabbed 20-year industry veteran Thomas Lloyd from Tishman Speyer , where he served for 12 years as senior director, property management. At CBRE, he becomes senior managing director, investor services, for the Greater New York City region, which includes Long Island, Westchester and Connecticut. In tandem with focusing on asset services, Lloyd is expected to play a key role in coordinating the delivery of CBRE’s other investor lines of business. At Tishman, Lloyd led all day-to-day operations for the firm’s real estate portfolio across the northeast region, including Rockefeller Center, the Chrysler Building and the MetLife Building. He held responsibility for the daily management of 21 million square feet of Class A office assets in the Northeastern US and directed more than 100 property management professionals. Prior to his most recent assignment, Lloyd worked on the service and supply side of the business, a CBRE spokesperson tells GlobeSt.com. His jobs there included stints as SVP, business development at Colin Service System ; SVP of Onesource Services and, most recently, president and CEO of Real Estate Service Holdings . “Tom has a strong track record in operational excellence,” says Matthew Van Buren , president, Northeast division.” His outstanding strategic business planning and client relationship skills will add enormous value to CBRE’s business—and our business development.
