IRVINE, CA—GlobeSt.com has learned exclusively that Michael Hartel and Joe Winkelmann have joined Colliers International's Orange County team as EVP and SVP, respectively, returning to the firm where they began their careers. They will report to Robert Caudill, Colliers' regional managing director for Orange County.

Hartel and Winkelmann are acknowledged market experts in a wide variety of categories, including tenant and landlord representation, lease contract evaluations, lease and sale negotiations, developer representation, tax-deferred 1031 exchanges, property valuations, build-to-suit services, automotive, building and site selection, market analysis, and land acquisition for commercial development, among others. The team also introduced the “small buildings for sale” program, which resulted in 17 finished projects and more than 500 buildings sold for the team. Additionally, Hartel has completed more than 40 land sale transactions in South Orange County totaling more than 120 acres sold for more than $200 million.

Individually and as a team the pair have represented many institutional and individual landlords, tenants, and investors, including the Koll Co., RREEF, Panattoni Development Co., the Irvine Co., the Irvine Ranch Water District (IRWD), Bixby Land Co., CT Realty, Advanced Construction, Fletcher Jones Motorcars, Showcase Automotive Group, Ducati North America, IDEX Corp. and Wave Technology Solutions.
