CHICAGO—There are not too many industrial sites left in the Chicago region's powerhouse I-55 submarket, but Principle Construction Corp. The commitment to quality by all parties will show through in the finished product.” The US industrial market is soaring, and RPG and Cabot are making sure to take advantage of the favorable conditions. As reported in GlobeSt.com, the companies came together to develop the Susquehanna Logistics Center, a 423,300-square foot distribution building in York, PA, and Hanover Center, a 100,000-square-foot distribution facility in Baltimore. Located on a 24-acre site, the partners' new building in Crest Hill will include 32' clear ceilings, 36 depressed docks with space for 40 additional docks if required by a future user, four drive-in doors, 164 trailer parking stalls, 318 spaces for employee cars, 3,200 amps of power and an ESFR sprinkler system. Principle will construct four main entrances utilizing a combination of architectural curtain wall and punched window systems. The company will also install clerestory windows to provide abundant natural light into the facility. Ken Lattanzi is serving as senior project manager and Doug Brucato will serve as senior superintendent. Harris Architects designed the new building and James Estus and David Bercu of Colliers International will market the property.
