CBRE Promotes Two to EVP Level

CHICAGO—Both Matt Mulvihill and Jon Springer have received national recognition for their work.

CHICAGO— Matt Mulvihill works within CBRE’s industrial and logistics services group and Jon Springer within the firm’s tenant representation group. But both are among CBRE’s top producers and have just been promoted to executive vice president. Mulvihill has handled all types of industrial transactions including dispositions, acquisitions, leases, build-to-suits, and investment sales. Throughout his career, he has completed more than $1 billion in transactions and in the past three years, his deals have exceeded 10 million square feet of activity. “Matt approaches brokerage the same way he approached his wrestling success at Iowa State, with extreme discipline and a laser focus,” says Chris Zubel , managing director of industrial and logistics services. “These traits have elevated him to the top echelon of his peers globally.” Mulvihill joined CBRE in 2012 and has been listed as one of CBRE Chicago’s top ten producers each year since. For the last two years, he was ranked fourth among CBRE’s national industrial producers. He has also won two NAIOP Awards for Excellence and received the Greater Chicago Food Depository’s Real Estate Industrial Transaction of the Year Award.

Springer joined CBRE following its 2003 merger with Insignia/ESG . Since then, he has completed nearly 800 transactions and has been involved in almost ten million square feet of transactions for clients from many industries, including technology, financial services and healthcare. In 2015, Springer exceeded one million square feet of transactions and was once again recognized as one of the top 275 producers in the nation. Locally, he is one of the top 5 producers in the company’s Chicago tenant representation group and was a past finalist for the NAIOP Suburban Transaction of the Year award. “This achievement is a testament to Jon’s meticulous work ethic, unwavering attention to detail and loyalty to his clients’ objectives,” says Jamie Georgas , managing director, CBRE Chicago.
