ATLANTIC CITY, NJ—Tony Rodio , president and CEO of Tropicana Entertainment, will be recognized for his unwavering commitment to improving Atlantic City’s entertainment and destination appeal through exceptional leadership during the Milton & Betty Katz Jewish Community Center 2016 Annual Gala on Thursday, April 14 at the Holtzman Gallery in The Claridge Hotel . “Under Tony’s leadership, coupled with ongoing financial commitment from Icahn Enterprises, Tropicana Atlantic City continues to innovate and reinvest in Atlantic City, resulting in a positive impact on the greater community,” says Katz JCC CEO Jack I. Fox.  “It is for this reason we have chosen to honor Tony Rodio , acknowledging his exceptional leadership, and celebrate the resulting economic investment in our region. We believe that Tony’s mission to improve the community through consistent business leadership is reflective of the mission of the Katz JCC .” In addition to serving as president and CEO of Tropicana Entertainment , he also serves as a director of the company.  Rodio has served as president of the Casino Association of New Jersey , leading discussions regarding legislation and other regulatory topics. He also served on the boards of other professional and charitable organizations including Atlantic City Alliance, United Way of Atlantic County, and the Lloyd D. Levenson Institute of Gaming Hospitality & Tourism . In 2014, Rodio received the Greater Atlantic City Chamber of Commerce Business Leader of the Year Award.
