Former NFL Player Touches Down at Colliers

NEW YORK CITY—The new hire, who once played for the New York Jets, has been tapped as associate director of brokerage services.

Steve Maneri, Colliers International NEW YORK CITY—Steve Maneri, who spent five years blocking and catching passes for six different NFL teams, including the New York Jets, now is huddling with Colliers International staff here as associate director of brokerage services. In his new role at Colliers, the former tight end will specialize in tenant representation and run interference in support of the brokerage team led by Colliers vice chairman Joe Cabrera . Maneri spent five years in the NFL. He was drafted by the Houston Texans in 2010 and had stints with the New England Patriots , Kansas City Chiefs , Chicago Bears , Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New York Jets . In 2014, he had two separate stints with the eventual Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots. “We’re very excited to have Steve Maneri on our team,” says Kim Brennan , COO of Colliers International’s tri-state region. “With a unique background like Steve’s, coming from the NFL spotlight, we’re confident that his skills in communications, preparation, situational analysis, and teamwork and a passion to win will further strengthen our client relationships and add to the growth of our team.” Maneri was an all-conference tight end and the captain of the Temple University football team prior to turning professional. Among his notable off-season endeavors, Maneri worked with Tricare Medical Transportation in a business development capacity. He is also the co-founder of the Kids Dream Big Foundation, a non-profit with the goal of providing children guidance on setting and attaining goals for their future.
