Healthcare Real Estate Firm Hires Managing Director

SCOTTSDALE, AZ—John Patnode will oversee all design and construction efforts for National Healthcare Development's post-acute and senior housing division.

John Patnode Patnode is a healthcare and senior housing construction veteran.
SCOTTSDALE, AZ—In his new role as managing director of design and construction, John Patnode will oversee all design and construction efforts for National Healthcare Development’s post-acute and senior housing division. He will be based in the in the firm’s Scottsdale, AZ office. “We are very pleased to have someone of John’s caliber join our organization and bring such a high level of professionalism and expertise to our platform,” said Jecoah Byrnes , president and CEO of National Healthcare. “Our clients stand to be the beneficiaries of John’s expertise and oversight as he contributes his industry knowledge and relationships to our many de novo development projects.” Prior to joining National Healthcare Development, Patnode was the managing director of design and construction for New Dawn Memory Care , a private national senior housing operator. Patnode began his career in the Southwest where he practiced professionally for more than 20 years before leveraging his experience into national senior housing projects. Patnode holds a degree in interior design and is a licensed general contractor. Byrnes tells GlobeSt.com: “National Healthcare Development currently has five transitional rehabilitation projects under development in Arizona, including our latest Welbrook West Valley Rehabilitation in Avondale, AZ.  John will be centrally located and provide construction management oversight for our Arizona projects, as well as other projects in surrounding states.” National Healthcare Realty and Development provides customized real estate solutions for healthcare providers across the continuum of care. The firm’s service offering includes site selection, development services, construction management and capital markets services.
