KATY, TX—Lowe's Cos. will build a 100,000-square-foot home improvement store at The Shoppes at Cinco Ranch. Meanwhile, Thor Equities is developing retail stores and restaurant spaces throughout the remainder of the 35-acre property. Current tenants at The Shoppes at Cinco Ranch include Walgreens, with Kroger and Academy Sports + Outdoors located across the street.

“We are excited to welcome Lowe's to The Shoppes at Cinco Ranch, which will be a center point for shopping, dining and entertainment for Cinco Ranch,” says Joseph Sitt, CEO of Thor Equities.

The Shoppes at Cinco Ranch is easily accessible via the Westpark Tollway and bisected by Spring Green Boulevard, with ample parking and footpaths throughout the property. Area amenities include several golf courses, more than 100 neighborhood parks, a beach club, a water park, and more than 100 miles of hiking and biking trails.

Thor Equities is also developing new luxury mixed-use development Kirby Collection in Houston. Located in the Upper Kirby District near the city's River Oaks neighborhood, the 1 million-square-foot luxury project features a 25-story residential tower with 199 apartments, a 13-story 210,000-square-foot class-A office building and two levels of prime retail space totaling 65,000 square feet.
