Enclave

PHOENIX—Construction is underway on The Enclave at ANTHEM Senior Living, a senior living community offering luxury senior living options at an affordable price, including flexible month-to-month leasing programs. Slated to open in summer 2017, the senior living community is a project of Denver-based Spectrum Retirement Communities.

The 160,000-square-foot community is located near Anthem Community Park in the North Black Canyon Corridor. A full range of living options will be available, including independent living, assisted living, transitional memory care and memory care.

“Anthem is growing rapidly, with new infrastructure, homes and retail,” said Jeff Kraus, managing director of Spectrum Retirement Communities. “Our new community, The Enclave at ANTHEM, adds an affordable option for seniors, complete with luxury amenities, month-to-month leasing and convenient access to everything the North Black Canyon Corridor has to offer.”

The two-story community will offer 159 residences, ranging in size from studio apartments to two-bedroom units. Residents can choose independent living, assisted living or memory care options, all planned to maximize health, independence, security and peace of mind, with services including a variety of innovative activities, chef-prepared dining, wellness programs and entertainment activities run by the community's director of fun. The community also will offer Spectrum's unique transitional memory care program, which supports seniors with mild cognitive impairment, while still offering a high level of independence.

Kraus tells GlobeSt.com: “Spectrum Retirement has been serving seniors in and around Phoenix for six years and we believe the time is right for a senior living community in the North Black Canyon Corridor. The area is growing rapidly and offers so many amenities for seniors, we are confident that demand will be high.”

The Enclave at ANTHEM is Spectrum's fourth community in Arizona. The company develops, owns and operates senior living communities throughout the US.
