Knott Realty Targets Windsor Mill Submarket With Spec Office

TIMONIUM, MD—Knott Realty is developing an office very close to two federal government agencies in this Baltimore submarket.

TIMONIUM, MD—Locally-based Knott Realty is building a spec office in  Baltimore’s Windsor Mill submarket . The 58,000-square foot office will be located on 2270 Rolling Run Dr., next the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services office complex and close to the Social Security Administration. The proximity of the government offices is one of the reasons why Knott Realty decided to move forward with this project, according to James F. Knott Jr., president of the company.  The local private sector is also expanding, he said, “which provides us with the optimism to proceed on a speculative basis,” he said. The  single-story building, which will be called Rolling Run Technology Park, will have an open space layout so that it can accommodate a wide array of office users, Knott continued, “including government contractors, medical and professional services.” Knott Realty owns nearby buildings, which are fully occupied, buttressing Knott Realty confidence in the local economy.
