HOUSTON— Andrew Pappas has joined NAI Partners as senior vice president to lead the investment management division. Pappas will be responsible for building a platform that allows investors to capitalize on market knowledge in order to generate risk-adjusted returns. Through the NAI investment management fund, Pappas is assembling a $200 to 250 million diversified portfolio of value-add office and industrial real estate throughout Texas. NAI Partners managing partner John Silberman states on behalf of the partnership, “We are thrilled to have Andrew join our firm. Andrew is highly energetic and has already accomplished a tremendous amount in his career both in real estate and as an entrepreneur. We are very excited to have someone of Andrew’s skill, energy and capabilities join our firm. Andrew is responsible for acquisitions and for carefully executing value-enhancement and asset management strategies in order to maximize returns to our investors.” Prior to joining NAI Partners, Pappas served as vice president at Vista Private Equity Group in Houston. While at Vista, Pappas worked on a multitude of retail, office, medical office, build-to-suit and ground-up development real estate transactions ranging from $15 million to 70 million. He also spent time in investment banking and public accounting in Houston and New York City, and is involved in a variety of entrepreneurial ventures. Pappas tells GlobeSt.com: “I am humbled and proud to join such an impressive group of real estate professionals. I look forward to taking the investment management platform to the next level with an excellent team.” Pappas is a graduate of Texas A&M University where he received a bachelor of business administration in accounting and a master of science degree in finance.
