CARROLLTON, TX— Austin Ranch, Billingsley’s 1,700-acre master-planned development, is located on 1,900 acres, west of the Dallas North Tollway and south of State Highway 121. The mixed-use live/work/dine/shop site is located within the communities of The Colony, Carrollton, Plano and Frisco, TX. The build-to-suit capabilities of Austin Ranch contain more than 700 acres for corporate campuses, and 200 acres for industrial business parks and technological uses. In the southwest corner of the development at Parker Road and Plano Parkway, the new $11.35 million build-to-suit facility for Interceramic will include both office and warehouse space, and feature curtain wall glass with exposed steel canopy entries and wood “look” tile accents around the exterior. The warehouse will be in a cross dock configuration, including six full-length truck wells for covered loading, storage and parking. It is to be located at 1950 East Parker Rd. MYCON General Contractors has broken ground on the 330,000-square-foot headquarters building, according to John Riggins , MYCON’s vice president of office and industrial services. Interceramic is a manufacturer and distributor of ceramic tile and natural stone. Riggins tells GlobeSt.com: “Billingsley has pulled together a great project team with Pritchard Associates as project manager, and AZIMUTH Architecture as the architect for the new headquarters. MYCON has built numerous corporate headquarters and commercial office buildings over the years, but we are very excited about the Interceramic headquarters as it will truly reflect the business that they are in, with a wide variety of materials used for both interior and exterior finish-out.” Completion is slated for the fall of this year. “We are pleased to have been selected for this fast-track, new construction project. Interceramic’s move to Austin Ranch is an outstanding, high-growth location for doing business.”
