MIAMI—Lisa Ferrazza, a veteran commercial real estate pro, just joined Franklin Street's South Florida office. She will serve as a senior director and specialize in retail landlord representation and leasing.
Ferrazza comes to Franklin Street with more than 15 years of real estate experience, including 10 years in her last position as vice president with CBRE in Boca Raton. In her new role, she will work primarily with institutional real estate investors to oversee the leasing and management of client properties in South Florida. She will also collaborate on business development initiatives to expand the division.
“The South Florida retail market is continuing to experience strong net absorption, steadily increasing rents and decreased vacancies, due largely to a seemingly recovered housing market, record tourism and pre-recession unemployment rates,” Ferrazza tells GlobeSt.com. “Consequently, it has once become a landlord's market, reminiscent of 2006 to 2008. Overall, it is a very exciting time to be a landlord broker in South Florida.”
During her tenure at CBRE, Ferrazza handled leasing, management and new business development for a portfolio of class A retail properties totaling more than 1.5 million square feet. Previously, she worked at a boutique real estate agency where she was responsible for recruiting, training and producing for all incoming real estate managers, sales professionals and staff. She has worked with several institutional clients including TIA-CREF, Invesco, and UBS.
“Lisa's addition to the team truly gives us the momentum to continue our growth as a retail powerhouse in South Florida,” says Greg Matus, regional managing partner South Florida. “She is a superstar who brings more than a decade's worth of experience and great national contacts to our company.”
Ferrazza has been honored for her commercial real estate achievements. She was named a CB Richard Ellis “Top Fiver Producer” in 2008 and 2009, a Top Leasing Broker in 2009, and received the company's Shining Star Award in 2008. She was also acknowledged as a CoStar Power Broker in 2008.
Franklin Street also added Brandon Sciotti as a retail investment associate in the South Florida office. He focuses on the disposition and acquisition of retail properties across the region. Before joining Franklin Street, Sciotti was a senior financial analyst with Marcus & Millichap. Sciotti works directly with Robert Granda, director of retail investment sales. This follows other strategic retail hires in December.
