NEWPORT BEACH, CA—Patriot Equity Partners says that Tim Schenk has joined the company as senior vice president. In this role, Schenk will direct the firm's growth initiatives, including the acquisition of single tenant net lease assets and further enhancing and extending Patriot's tenant and investor relationships.

Schenk brings more than 15 years of commercial real estate investment management experience to Patriot Equity Partners. Most recently, Schenk served as vice president, acquisitions at VEREIT, a full-service commercial real estate operating firm, where he focused on the acquisition and operation of single tenant retail investments throughout the United States. During his tenure at VEREIT, Schenk successfully completed 185 transactions representing approximately $1 billion in closings. In 2015, he was recognized as the top producer for VEREIT's acquisition team.
