FRISCO, TX—Jamba Inc., parent company of Jamba Juice, has inked a deal to lease approximately 25,000 square feet of space in HALL Office Park, HALL Group's 16-building, 2.2 million square-foot office park. The new “Jamba Whirl'd Center” will be located at 3001 Dallas Pkwy., an eight-story, class-A office building that will include approximately 19,000 square feet of office and meeting space, as well as an approximately 6,000-square-foot test kitchen and store front. The center will house the company's operations, business development, sales and marketing, finance, supply chain, technology, and human resources.

“With the pending expiration of our lease in Emeryville at the end of 2016, we explored a number of location options that would offer us competitive operating costs, a region with extensive access to skilled restaurant talent, an attractive cost of living to our current and future team members, and a geographical location that facilitates our ability to expand our store base,” said David A. Pace, chief executive officer of Jamba Inc. “The state of Texas meets all of these criteria and Frisco is a community committed to healthy living that aligns closely with our overall mission.”

The most recent building developed at HALL Office Park, 3001 Dallas Parkway is surrounded by the park's abundant green space, more than 200 piece art collection and desirable onsite amenities. The LEED-Certified building features a stunning art collection and great visibility with its superior location on the Dallas North Tollway, offering convenient access to Frisco's wide array of residential and retail areas, along with sporting and entertainment venues. Jamba Juice's lease brings 3001 Dallas Parkway and the office park as a whole, to 94% leased.

Kim Butler, director of leasing at HALL Group, tells GlobeSt.com: “We're thrilled that Jamba Juice decided to relocate their headquarters to HALL Office Park, and this move is indicative of the rapidly growing number of companies choosing Texas, and specifically North Texas, for their future home. This trend is largely due to the region's key benefits, including a low cost of living, friendly business environment and a generally high quality of life.”

Once complete, the move will relocate the company's headquarters from Emeryville, CA, to North Texas. In all, Jamba Juice expects to employ approximately 100 people in Frisco, with a portion of the positions to be filled by employees who relocate from California, combined with those newly hired in Texas.

“The city of Frisco is proud to welcome Jamba Inc. as one of our newest corporate citizens, and I know the company's culture of health and wellness will have a positive impact on Frisco,” said mayor Maher Maso. “A corporate relocation doesn't happen unless a company's leadership can visualize its employees thriving in the community where they will work and live. It's meaningful to us that the people of Jamba Inc. chose North Texas–and specifically Frisco–as the place to call home.”

Cushman & Wakefield's Robbie Baty and Bill McClung brokered the lease on behalf of Jamba Juice and successfully negotiated municipal and state incentives, securing grants from both the city of Frisco and the Texas Enterprise Fund. HALL Group's Butler, Brad Gibson and Tammy Nellis completed the lease on behalf of HALL Office Park.

“We couldn't be happier that Jamba Juice has chosen to relocate their headquarters to HALL Office Park, and this is really a testament to the diversity and caliber of the companies who are looking at DFW, and Frisco in particular, as a place to grow their business,” said Craig Hall, chairman and founder of HALL Group. “HALL Office Park's dynamic location, coupled with its unique natural setting, walking trails and new amenities, make it a great fit for Jamba Juice's employees and their active lifestyles.”
