ORLANDO—Posner Commons, a 630,000 square foot regional shopping center in Davenport, FL, just got a new leasing agent. Ownership selected Crossman & Company to lead the charge. The firm will handle property management for a 434,710-square-foot portion of the retail property. Crossman COO John Zielinski , senior managing director of brokerage services Dan Colachicco , director of client services Marc Cook , Director, and senior leasing associate Katherine Rush-Heath , worked to close the leasing deal on the 80-acre power center. “Location plays a pivotal role as we move forward, as do outstanding demographics and high visibility,” Zielinski tells GlobeSt.com. “We look forward to maximizing the performance of Posner Commons.” Trammel Crow Company developed Posner Commons, which sits at the four corners of Central Florida in Polk County. The shopping center opened in 2008 and is centrally located at the intersection of Interstate 4 and US Highway 27 in growing Polk County. Anchor tenants among the 60 stores include Target, Best Buy, Books-A-Million, Cinepolis IMAX, JC Penney and Staples. Spaces range from 1,400 square feet. Posner Commons is part of Victor Posner City Center, a 366-acre development of Regional Impact. The Polk County development is approved for 1.2 million square feet of commercial real estate space, including 1 million square feet of office space, 2,000-plus multifamily units, 2,500 hotel rooms and 500,000 square feet of industrial space. All told, Crossman has 25,678,368 square feet under leasing and management comprising with 347 properties. The company works in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia. One Central Florida retail asset just began a new chapter. Read about it in my recent column.
