The Ivy, a 248-unit, class A+ newly-constructed multifamily complex in Orlando's Florida Hospital Village has traded hands.

ORLANDO—Monument Real Estate Services is picking up momentum in Orlando. The company just landed three new multifamily property management assignments and appointed a new regional manager.

Monument will manage three multifamily communities in the Orlando MSA: Barber Park, The Park at Laurel Oaks Apartments and Windrift Apartments. The company hired Summer Davis as regional manager for the Orlando area.

“We are extremely bullish about Orlando's potential,” Gregory J. Lozinak, COO of Monument Real Estate Services, tells GlobeSt.com. “The city and surrounding area has excellent overall job-growth predictions, with large gains in technology and health care complementing the area's vast tourism and hospitality industry.”

Located at 5300 Lake Margaret Drive, Barber Park, offers 526 units with studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom multifamily floorplans in garden-style buildings. The Park at Laurel Oaks Apartments is located at 1 Laurel Oaks Drive in Winter Springs and offers 552 one-, two- and three-bedroom multifamily units. Located at 949 Crowsnest Circle in Orlando, Windrift Apartments has 288 garden style multifamily units.

“The Orlando Economic Development Commission recently noted that Orlando is not only outpacing growth in most cities in Florida, its growth makes it the second-fastest-growing large metro area in the nation over the last few years,” Lozinak says. “The Commission also noted that the area is anticipating a net immigration of 350,000 new residents by 2020, much of that growth necessitating appropriate workforce housing.”

Bringing more than 10 years of experience in property management, Davis is responsible for overseeing the firm's Orlando multifamily portfolio, including the newly added 1,366 units. Before joining Monument, Davis served as the senior director of operations for Multifamily Management, where she was responsible for all aspects of operations for 29 multifamily properties ranging from Albany, New York to Miami, Florida. She previously served as senior property manager for Merion Realty Management and as a regional director for PRG Real Estate Management.
