AUSTIN, TX—Falcon Realty Advisors' retail, restaurant and entertainment tenants have grown in Central Texas during the past several years. This growth has resulted in expansion into Austin with a new office here. The Austin office will serve as an extension of Falcon's Dallas headquarters by continuing operations within its tenant representation services and the development of its build-to-suit platform.

Travis Heinrichs, who joined Falcon in 2013 and most recently served as director of investments, will be heading the new branch as director and leading the growing office. He will focus his expertise on site selection, deal underwriting and project development in the greater Austin and San Antonio areas.

“By solidifying a local presence in Austin, Falcon will be better positioned to execute on the substantial opportunities in the area and further strengthen our ties to the community,” said Tim Hughes, president and CEO of Falcon Realty Advisors. “There's both an art and a science of tenant representation. We have a deep understanding of both as it's the only thing we do. Travis' comprehensive understanding of the evolving market makes him perfectly suited to lead our continuous expansion among local and national markets.”

The firm's portfolio consists of Austin-headquartered Whole Foods and other top retailers throughout the state including Petco, Mattress Firm, Robbins Brothers and iPic Theaters. Falcon also represents flourishing emerging restaurant brands, such as Thirsty Lion Gastropub & Grill, Ted's Montana Grill, Modern Market, Bulla Gastrobar, Velvet Taco, Whiskey Cake, Pisco y Nazca, 54th Street Grill and HopDoddy.

Hughes tells GlobeSt.com: “With the restaurant, retail and entertainment markets in Austin and San Antonio booming, having a team on the ground will allow Falcon to better support our growing clientele and capitalize on new opportunities in the area. In addition to leading the Austin branch as an extension of our Dallas headquarters, Travis will be actively recruiting brokers and new team members.”

Falcon is a member of Realty Resources, a member-owned retail real estate brokerage group that combines the leading firms from more than 25 cities around the country into one network. Additionally, Falcon has strategic partners in all additional major markets throughout the United States.
