SAN DIEGO—CBRE Group says Matt Marschall has joined the firm as senior vice president and Dylan Marschall, as financial analyst of CBRE's Capital Markets division specializing in the Land, Agribusiness and Natural Resources Practice in San Diego. Combined, Matt and Dylan have more than 40 years of experience in land, agricultural properties, and natural resources—which includes wind, solar and water rights.
Prior to joining CBRE, Matt Marschall was an executive managing director for Cushman & Wakefield Western, and was the national practice leader for the Agribusiness, Natural Resources & Energy Valuation and Advisory specialty group. He was also involved with the National Land Group and was the founder of The Land Group brokerage practice, which was headquartered in San Diego specializing in land and agricultural properties.
Matt Marschall started his professional real estate career in 1983 after serving as CEO and CFO for a large San Diego-based agribusiness firm. In 1987, he had created his own firm and developed an expertise in commercial real estate with a focus on large land transactions, agricultural properties, natural resources and mixed-use complex properties.
Previously, before joining CBRE, Dylan Marschall was an appraiser for Cushman & Wakefield, Western, in the Valuation & Advisory Group specializing in agribusiness and natural resources. He worked on appraisal and consulting assignments for a variety of agricultural properties including farms, ranches, dairies, nurseries, transitional land, recreational camps and special purpose industrial sites throughout California and the U.S.

Matt Marschall earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California, San Diego and a Masters of Arts in Environmental Quality and Public Health at the University of California, Irvine. Dylan Marschall earned a Bachelor's of Business Administration in Finance with an emphasis on real estate from the Mihaylo School of Business and Economics.
