DALLAS—To be in an area near recreation activities yet close to transportation and walkable retail is the best of both worlds for a residential community. With a location across from Bachman Lake recreational park and just north of Dallas Love Field Airport , the 208-unit Bachman Oaks Apartments has tenant appeal on a number of levels. The complex has recently sold for an undisclosed price. The seller was 2501 Bachman Oaks Partners LP and the buyer was Bachman Oaks 2016 LLC , which plans upgrades to take advantage of the natural setting and other amenities within the surrounding area. The location includes restaurants, convenient retail, shopping centers and entertainment venues within walking distance. There is a DART bus stop at the complex and the DART Green Line Bachman station is directly across the street from the complex. Bachman Oaks offers one- and two-bedroom apartment homes with five different floor plans. All homes offer major brand kitchen appliances, ceiling fans, patios, washer and dryer connections, wood-burning fireplaces, spacious walk-in closets and breakfast bars. Vaulted ceilings are available in most units.  The community offers a swimming pool and grilling/ picnic areas for year-round enjoyment.  There are large oak trees and recently upgraded landscaping throughout the community, providing natural courtyard views. The Rowan Properties team represented both the seller and the buyer on this transaction. Matt Waskow , investment analyst with Rowan Properties tells GlobeSt.com: “Rowan Properties is pleased to announce the recent sale of the Bachman Oaks Apartments, a 208-unit property built in 1986. The purchaser (an investment group out of New Jersey) plans on extensive renovations to take advantage of the improving Bachman Lake area. The average unit size is 765 square feet with rents averaging $0.91 per square feet.”
