RICHARDSON, TX—With live-work-play and walkability as continuing themes, an urban neighborhood is in the works at CityLine , the 186-acre mixed-use project. The Centre Living Homes project will consist of 32 three-story homes ranging in size from 2,750 to 3,300 square feet. The community will be located on CityLine Drive just east of Plano Road adjacent to CityLine Market , and near the State Farm and Raytheon office campuses. Walt Mountford , KDC ‘s executive vice president, tells GlobeSt.com: “KDC is excited to offer CityLine residents another quality housing option with Centre Living Homes, which is known for providing upscale, modern living environments to the DFW market. This intimate neighborhood will be located within walking distance to everything CityLine has to offer and is ideal for homeowners looking for a true live-work-play environment.” Construction is slated to begin later this year with homes starting at around $550,000. Centre Living Homes has experience with building urban-styled custom houses and townhouses in the Uptown and Oak Lawn areas. “KDC is excited to offer home ownership within walking distance of CityLine’s fabulous restaurants, amenities, Whole Foods Market and the CityLine Bush Station on DART’s Red Line,” said Mountford. “CityLine is a wonderful place for Centre Living to continue their legacy of providing upscale, urban living environments to DFW homebuyers.” Recently opened dining options at CityLine include Coal Vines, Jasper’s, Good Union Urban BBQ, Tom+Chee, Nestlé® Toll House Café by Chip, Top Pot Doughnuts & Coffee, Red Mango and Starbucks . Whole Foods Market opened this spring as the retail anchor. Edoko Sushi, Robata, Fernando’s and Tricky Fish are scheduled to open next. “These homes offer the best of single family and urban living within steps of all the exciting and convenient urban amenities that CityLine has to offer,” said Trevor Brickman , president of Centre Living Homes. “Home features include large, open planned spaces with side private courtyards which breathe air and light into the core of the clean, modern designs.”
