USGBC's Rick Fedrizzi Joins IWBI as CEO

WASHINGTON, DC--IWBI is the International WELL Building Institute, which focuses on building occupants' health and well-being as a sustainability metric.

WASHINGTON, DC–Rick Fedrizzi is moving on from the US Green Building Council, but not very far, at least in terms of the type of work he will be doing and the type of organization  he will be doing it for.

In November Fedrizzi will become CEO of the International WELL Building Institute, when he leaves USGBC. He has already joined the group as its chairman.

IWBI is a sustainability movement that focuses on building occupants’ health and well being as a metric. The association administers the WELL Building Standard, which was created after seven years of research and development incorporating the research of physicians, scientists, and industry professionals. IWBI has also launched a WELL Accredited Professional program.
