MIAMI— Glenn H. Gregory has left Coldwell Banker Alliance for a new position at Transwestern . He will serve as the firm’s managing director in the firm’s Miami office . In his new role, the commercial real estate veteran will focus on office agency leasing and tenant advisory. He will also play an active role in business development and expansion of all service lines across the Southeast region. “Miami has experienced sustained investor interest for core office assets throughout the first half of 2016, with the CBD leading in volume sold and price per square foot,” Gregory tells GlobeSt.com. “At the same time, Miami’s CBD has witnessed above peak rent levels and for properties recently acquired it is imperative to institute thoughtful leasing and capital programs to achieve and then sustain the new highs in market rents. Gregory is known for achieving premium rents and occupancy on behalf of the landlords of class A office assets in Miami’s Central Business District, including Southeast Financial Center, Brickell World Plaza, 801 Brickell, 1221 Brickell and Brickell Bay Office Tower. He has worked with clients like HSBC Bank USA; Morgan, Lewis & Bockius; EFG Capital International Corp.; Crédit Agricole Private Bank Miami; INTL FCStone; Mars Petcare U.S.; and Banco Internacional De Costa Rica, S.A. “Glenn is the perfect person to lead the office leasing component of our South Florida brokerage and ultimately grow our footprint in the market,” says Bruce Ford, Transwestern’s Southeast president, whose market outlook is bullish with a little caution mixed in. Gregory has been recognized as a CoStar Power Broker, acted as a Trustee of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, and has been a guest lecturer at the University of Miami’s School of Law – Graduate Program in Real Property Development.Gregory brings more than 30 years of commercial real estate expertise to Transwestern. His specialty is evaluating, developing and executing real estate strategies for owners, investors and occupiers of office space . Most recently, Gregory served as the executive managing director of the office practice group with Coldwell Banker Commercial Alliance. Before that, he was the executive vice president of the Miami office of JLL , where he specialized in tenant representation and agency leasing. During his tenure at JLL, Gregory co-chaired the firm’s Miami Office Leadership Team, was a member of the company’s national law firm practice group and was recognized as a top producer in 2011, 2012 and 2013.
