residential MESA, AZ— Eastmark earned another top spot among the top 20 best-selling master-planned communities in the nation during the first half of 2016, according to a report released by real estate advisory group RCLCO . Eastmark was ranked in the 11 th spot in the country and number one in Arizona. Vistancia was the only other Arizona master-planned community included in the list at number 20, as previously reported. According to the RCLCO report, “Its prime location in the center of the East Mesa's gateway corridor, one of the fastest-growing and economically strongest areas of Phoenix, contributes to its success.” Eastmark ended 2015 ranked as the eighth fastest-selling master-planned community in the nation according to the RCLCO report and was Arizona's top selling community. More than 1,200 homes have sold at Eastmark since opening in summer 2013 and sales have continued at a sustained pace. Dea McDonald , Eastmark's general manager and a senior vice president says, “Eastmark is pleased that sales have continued at a strong pace in a competitive market. We are fortunate to be located in the Valley's best-selling and most desirable zip code, while offering high-quality master-planned community living. This year, we added some exciting resident amenities along with community and public programming that is creating a dynamic place to live.” Phase one of Eastmark is nearly sold out and phase two of the community features local and national homebuilders including CalAtlantic, Maracay, Mattamy, Meritage, Shea, Taylor Morrison, William Ryan, Woodside and Taylor Morrison , adding to the wide variety of floorplans and products available. AV Home 's active adult community, Encore , is also in active sales and features exclusive amenities for its residents. Looking ahead at the development plans for Eastmark, McDonald said, “Eastmark is continuously adding new neighborhoods, top builders and amenities as we rapidly grow. We are actively pursuing opportunities that attract businesses to Mesa and our community. With 3,200 acres in a premier location near transportation, shopping and employers, our mixed-use environment offers the perfect location for employers and retailers.” This year, Eastmark accelerated the development of some of its amenities because of the strong sales in the community. McDonald tells GlobeSt.com: “Eastmark's growth over the past few years has only enhanced the community. New resident amenities opened this year including a pool and game center, and our residents are helping to create clubs and programing that reflects their interests. Our premier location near freeways and major employers have made this one of the fastest-growing areas in the region and we hope this area continues to grow at this pace. This year, we will be adding new home styles and development will begin on the first preschool and the first church at Eastmark.” residential MESA, AZ— Eastmark earned another top spot among the top 20 best-selling master-planned communities in the nation during the first half of 2016, according to a report released by real estate advisory group RCLCO .
