Lauren Hodge HOUSTON— Coats Rose PC has added two new attorneys to the firm's Houston and Dallas offices. Lauren Hodge joins as an associate to Coats Rose's commercial litigation section in Houston and Scott Eidman joins as an associate to the public finance section in Dallas. Hodge has experience as a landman from a large independent exploration and production company. She has counseled technical staff on compliance with operating agreements, negotiated operating agreements and prepared various industry related agreements, including oil and gas leases, farmout agreements, and operating agreements and assignments. Hodge tells GlobeSt.com: “With my experience as a landman and providing counsel on operating agreements, I thought Coats Rose was the perfect fit to expand my commercial litigation clientele. Houston's litigation landscape is varied and complex, and I'm looking forward to adding my experience to the team and helping to grow the litigation practice.” Eidman's practice is focused on public finance, local government and administrative law with an emphasis on representing municipal utility districts and other special districts as general and bond counsel. He also represents real estate developers in the formation of special districts and in matters coming before special districts. Coats Rose is a business transaction and litigation law firm based in Houston with a team of more than 100 attorneys. For more than 30 years, the firm has provided legal services in construction/surety law, real estate law, affordable housing, public finance, bankruptcy and business reorganization, commercial litigation, corporate and securities, insurance law, intellectual property, government relations, labor and employment law, mergers and acquisitions, tax, wealth planning and preservation, and health care.
