Construction Pros Join Baker Katz

HOUSTON—Jason Lax and Lucy Landers have joined the Baker Katz team of commercial real estate professionals, with decades of experience in the construction and development arena.

Baker Katz new hires Landers has nearly 20 years of experience in public accounting, purchasing and construction.
HOUSTON—With retail development, property management and accounting experience, Jason Lax and Lucy Landers have joined the Baker Katz team of commercial real estate professionals. Both have decades of experience in the construction and development arena.  “Jason and Lucy have the drive, detail-minded and enthusiastic personalities we look for when adding to our growing team,” said Baker Katz principal Jason Baker . “Jason’s vast knowledge of the commercial real estate business and Lucy’s dedication and prior experience show they know what it takes to be successful, and we are thrilled to welcome them aboard.” Lax has successfully executed projects ranging from full-scale redevelopment of operating shopping centers to multi-site development within a concentrated market during his more than two decades of experience in commercial real estate development. In his role, Lax focuses on construction and property management. He graduated magna cum laude from Texas Tech University with a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering. Landers has nearly 20 years of experience in public accounting, purchasing and construction scheduling, and she utilizes these skills for property management and property accounting with Baker Katz. Prior to Baker Katz, she focused on development reporting and accounting projects for multi-tenant properties. Landers studied at San Jacinto College in Pasadena, TX.
