ROCKVILLE, MD-Computer Packages, the world's largest supplier of Patent, Trademark & Agreement Management Systems, needed to find new headquarters space stat. It found what it was looking for -- good space and a landlord able to facilitate matters pronto -- at 11 North Washington St., a downtown Rockville office building owned by Investment Properties.

Investment Properties had hired CBRE's Ben Powell, Gwen Fraker and Andy Cole three months prior to lease up the vacant space in the building. Computer Packages has already moved into 8,000 square feet and will be occupying an additional 17,000 square feet in the near future, bringing the building back to full occupancy.

“This was one of the most expedited and strategic headquarter relocation deals”, Powell said in a prepared statement. “From tour to lease to signature, the entire process took less than 30 days. Not only did the tenant need a portion of their space for immediate use, but we had to assemble their requirement throughout the building as other vacancies rolled.”
